How did you develop an interest in modeling, and expressing your sexuality through the camera lens?

AM: I’ve always been a passionate and seductive person naturally. I love expressing the curves of my body through boudoir or risqué photography.

When looking for a photographer to work with, what do you look for that seals the deal and makes for the best work relationship?

AM: I look for clarity, precise poses and well thought out content. You can almost feel the passion and dedication the model and photographer put into the photos. It’s almost like telling a story. You can feel the mood and tone. The confidence and beauty she display’s. I love it.

Being part of an industry whose only emphasis is on the outside characteristics of a person, how have you stayed grounded?

AM: It gets hard living up the standards, but I remember, I am a person outside of my beauty and body. I am quite the nerd to be honest. I love science and hold a bachelor’s degree of Science with a major in Kinesiology and a Biology minor. I surround myself with those who love and support me and never let anyone bring me down.

What do you like to do in your downtime?

AM: I’m more of a homebody now. I love my alone time, but I do love to be in the social atmosphere here and there. I sometimes need to get that wild streak out from time to time. I do enjoy reading and watching documentaries…

Do you think there is a lack of honest conversations around sexuality in our society? If everyone is having sex, why is it such a sin to talk about it?

AM: I think it depends on who you’re talking to. Sex is still this forbidden act in earlier generations. Even so, that some individuals find talking about sex uncomfortable. On another note, I also believe, it’s because they’re not doing it right or at least not with the right person.

Sex with the right person can be this satiable experience. Sex can connect you both on a deeper level. Exploring each other’s deepest desires and tapping into one another’s soul.

If someone wanted to seduce you, what would they need to do right?

AM: I can be more on the controlling side. It’s just in my nature, so it’s exciting to have a man take control of things. A man that plans, coordinates, and not let me lift a finger or toe. To be assertive about when, where, and how. If you know what I mean…I would melt in chair, that’s for sure.

If your best friend could tell us a funny story about you, what would it be?

AM: Oh, I wouldn’t even know where to start. My best friend– I call her, V for short, we’ve been best friends since our early college days.

I’m sure she would tell you about one of our crazy nights in Seattle. As for now, I’ll leave it at that. Lol.

Alana, what are your aspirations for your modeling career?

AM: I aspire to show the world you can come from any background or be any kind of woman and still model. I’d love to be featured in at least one iconic magazine.

Would you consider yourself a creative individual?

AM: I’d like to think so. I am an Aquarius. I am always off in my thoughts creating and planning new goals and aspirations.

What would you consider to be your greatest asset?

AM: When talking about body assets, my curves and bottom… I’ve always had an hourglass shape. But mostly, I am a very intellectual person, and so I’d like to think my mind is my greatest asset.

What brands do you aspire to work with in the future?

AM: I’d love to be considered for Maxim, Calvin Klein, and Honey Birdette
