Our friends spoke to highly of this Whisky that we definitely had to give this one a try. We had such high hopes for this Whisky, but alas for us it fell pretty flat.
Name: Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique
Region: Taiwan
Distillery: King Car
Nose: Somewhat Sweet, with notes of raisins and and mild vanilla.
Palate: At first you can taste the dark chocolate, and some alcohol, but not in a good way. It tastes a bit savory, like something you would eat at a restaurant.
Finish: Spicy pepper with more alcohol, it dies pretty fast, does not have any type long finish, very abrupt
